Books!

Hey internet!

It’s been a while, but we’re making travel plans again. Coming March we will be going back to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where we will join Voluntary Projects Overseas for a building project. We had a great time building a house with them in 2011 (read more about our experiences here) so we’ve decided to work with them again. We’ll most likely be working on their sanitation project this year, building wells and toilet facilities.

Part of the project is a nursery and a school, where they give free eductation to around 300 kids. We like to bring usefull things with us when we go to projects, and children’s books are always appreciated as they can be used for teaching and setting up a library, though they can be hard to find in places like Cambodia. So if you have English children’s books lying around that the kids aren’t reading anymore, give us a shout, as we’d love to collect them and bring them with us.
